The Palladium Eagle from the United States Mint is the newest bullion coin in the American Eagle Series. The collection of popular bullion coins started in 1986 with gold and silver versions, with the first expansion coming in 1997 with the Platinum Eagle. The 2017 release of the Palladium Eagle came 20 years after the platinum coin and 31 years after the start of the series overall. Palladium American Eagles have, through 2020, been issued in different versions for each date mark. The first release in 2017 was a Brilliant Uncirculated coin. The 2018 coin was a traditional proof, while the 2019 coin was a reverse proof. In 2020, the series featured a burnished version of the coin. Each release has had varying mintages, with the 2017 and 2018 coins capped at 15,000, the 2019 coin issued with 30,000, and the 2020 coin the lowest to date at just 10,000.

All of the 1 oz Palladium American Eagles in this listing come to you in near-perfect condition. Whether the coin is graded Mint State 69 or Specimen Proof 69, PF69 or PR69, it has full, original mint luster and no more than two minor flaws. Examples of acceptable flaws at these grades include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines located outside the primary focal points.

On the obverse of Palladium American Eagles is a depiction of Winged Liberty. This left-profile portrait of Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap so reminded the American public of artistic renderings of the Roman messenger god Mercury that its appearance on the US dime gave rise to the use of the term Mercury Dime when referring to the coins in circulation.

The reverse side of 1 oz Palladium Eagles comes with a depiction of the American bald eagle on a cliff edge. This design was created by Adolph A. Weinman, just as the obverse was, but was developed in 1907 for the American Institute of Architects gold medal.

Are your products actually in stock?

Yes. We are one of the few bullion dealers in the industry who only deems products "in stock" when we have them on-hand and ready to ship immediately. In the instance of a presale item, we denote that the product is on presale and the estimated shipping date. While we make the best efforts to hit presale dates, the dates are only estimates, given we cannot control mint production issues and/or carrier dealyes.

Why are multiple prices listed?

We offer a 4% discount to "cash" paying customers - with paper check, bank wire, and bitcoin payments being defined as cash. On many products, we are also able to offer volume discounts to customers purchasing large quantities of the same item. All volume pricing is laid out in the chart on the product's description page, as well as in the cart.

When do I lock in my price?

All prices are locked in at the time of purchase. Credit/debit card, PayPal, BitCoin, Ethereum, and Ripple orders are paid at the time of checkout, while paper check and bank wire orders require a credit/debit card on file to lock in your pricing while we await your payment.
